There are a wonderful list of laws in software development.

Some of my favourites are:

• Parkinson’s law.
• Murphy’s law.
• Gilb’s law and Goodhart’s law go hand in hand.

All of the listed laws I have linked to are good to know of and some are quite scary.

Restore

No one takes care of you but you. The manifesto I have linked to in the bottom makes a awesome point about it.

When I look back at my previous resignations I can recognize the that I couldn’t bounce back or couldn’t recognize my self any more.

I needed restoration. I needed a change.

I have too written declarations to myself in the middle of the night because my thoughts about work robbed me of my sleep.
